Company Profile:
A privately owned property company founded in 1948 and based in London’s Docklands. They currently manage a commercial portfolio which includes over 4 million sq. ft. of industrial properties together with a large Central London Residential portfolio, predominantly within prime West London locations. They are currently focused on the expansion of their industrial portfolio purchasing investments within London and the South East . The Group has acquired over 60 new properties in recent years and is currently very active within this market.

 

Objective:
To supply and install office furniture for their new headquarters building in West India Dock Gate, Docklands, London. They were relocating from a cluster of linked office units in Central Ilford, Essex that had grown through evolution rather than through a planned and thought out programme. 

The requirement was to design the office workspace to provide a better working environment, better well-being for the staff and increase productivity through defined departmental links. A set of workstation standards was designed to meet the job role requirements including desk accessories. The colours, fabric and textures were all chosen to complement the style of the listed building, the original Dock Masters House for the Port of London. The final requirement was to plan for any future expansion in all departments as they are a dynamic growing property company.
